Summer 2013: United We Dance:

 

Ballet Forte students have been invited to participate in a performance alongside students of the American Academy of Dance in Paris; as well as participate in AADP's summer intensive.


2013 CONSERVATORY PROGRAM

 

“A Week with the Masters”   - $425

An amazing week of classes filled with exceptional guest artists from the dance world, including classical and contemporary/modern work.

Class space is limited to 12 dancers

Monday July 8 - Friday, July 12, 2013 from 3:30 - 6:30pm

Inter/Adv Dancers ages 10 & up (at least 3 years of serious ballet training)

 

Technique Sessions 1-3:   - $425

Classes in ballet and pointe technique, pilates, stretch, contemporary/modern and partnering.

Advanced Beginner (8-12 years old) 1:30pm - 4:30pm

2013 YOUNG DANCERS PROGRAM - $150

Ages 4-7

An intro to dance; including creative movement and an introduction to the ballet world.

Studio Rules
• Arrive promptly to class (late students will be sent home)
• No talking during class, please raise your hand for questions
• No food or drinks in class, except water bottles
• No leaning on the barre during class
• Ask permission to use the restroom (unless it’s an emergency)
• Hold finishing positions until the instructor indicates you may stop
• Give instructor full attention
• Teasing and gossip will NOT be tolerated

Dress Code
• Ballet students must wear hair up neatly in a bun, Pre-Forte students may wear hair in a bun or pulled back off of face
• No jewelry, except small stud earrings
• New pointe shoes must be checked by Director, Andrea Kramer, before being worn to class

A Week with The Masters

Solid color leotard (any color) or white t-shirt, black bottoms for boys. Ballet Shoes (recommended brand/style Block Pro Elastic style #S0621L). On the days of Contemporary/Modern classes, dancers may wear black bottoms (tights or leggings).

Notes to Parents/Guardians
• Pick-up/drop-off of students is preferred to minimize congestion in studio (except Pre-Forte students).
• Students picked up more than 20-minutes late are not the responsibility of Ballet Forte NJ at Wings Conservatory, Inc.
• For discussions with the director or with an instructor, please schedule an appointment.
• Injured dancers are encouraged to sit and observe classes.
• Please call in absences.
• Please provide updated and complete medical and emergency information as needed.
